Outdoor Explorers Day Camp (ages 6-9) July 20-23

Outdoor Explorers Camp is a Cascade Mountain School day program that introduces students to the fun and excitement of outdoor adventures in the Trout Lake Valley. Students will get to explore an underground cave, build forts out of natural materials, hike to a secret natural spring and more. The entire camp will be spent outside! Parents are welcome to join in on the exploring!

Day camps for ages 6-9 will be held Monday through Thursday from 9am to 11:45am each day. There will be optional transportation from Hood River, OR or White Salmon, WA for an additional fee.

Dates: July 20-23 (9am-11:45am)

Ages: 6-9

Activities: Hiking, caving, fort-building

Cost: $120 plus fee for optional transportation

Instructor Bio: Before founding and serving as Mount Adams Institute’s first Executive Director, Brendan Norman spent nearly fifteen years working with AmeriCorps programs such as Northwest Service Academy and “I Have A Dream” Foundation – Oregon. An educator at heart with dirt in his blood, Brendan loves the outdoors nearly as much as his family and his bike and skis. Brendan can’t wait to lead youth on outdoor explorations and share his passion for nature with them.
