STE(A)M Education

Cascade Mountain School is committed to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education for a number of reasons. First, we think science can be really fun. Second, we see the benefit to ourselves and our society from cultivating the habits of a scientist such as curiosity, observation, and creativity. Third, we see students advancing into fulfilling careers and global relevance from being scientifically literate*.

If you need more reasons to believe in STEM education, Washington STEM, an organization working to advance STEM education in Washington state has put out a compelling STEM fact sheet.
