Middle School Mountain Camp June 28-July 3
Adventurous middle school students will love this new camp. We’re hosting a 6-day, 5-night adventure camp that includes whitewater rafting, spelunking in lava tubes, hiking to mountaintop vistas, biking through the valley, and learning watershed science. We’ll be based in the White Salmon River Valley in Trout Lake, Washington. Students should expect to make new friends, learn new ways of traveling in the outdoors, and come home excited about exploring the Columbia River Gorge and the Cascade Mountains. We’ve completed our 28-day Indiegogo Campaign to support Cascade Mountain School’s pilot Semester School. Over the past three years, we’ve successfully executed summer programs and served hundreds of students. We’d like to expand beyond summer to offer a fall Semester School in 2015, and everyday we get closer to that goal. Our Semester School is 16 weeks of high school, open to junior, senior, and gap year students, in the beautiful Cascade Mountains.
