MacGyver Day Camp (ages 6-9) July 6-9
MacGyver Camp is a Cascade Mountain School day program that introduces younger students to the fun and excitement of learning how to build things out of scraps, found objects, broken tools, etc. Students spend the day outside in the Trout Lake valley working on projects such as fort building, fire making, rocket launching, and other cool, hands-on projects. Come explore a variety of farm activities in Trout Lake, WA. Play in the gardens. Tour a local organic dairy. Learn about animal care. Feed the chickens and cook a meal with farm fresh eggs. We’re hosting a 6-day, 5-night adventure camp that includes whitewater rafting, spelunking in lava tubes, hiking to mountaintop vistas, biking through the valley, and learning watershed science. Over the past three years, we’ve successfully executed summer programs and served hundreds of students.
